On My Way Mobile Massage provides a variety of massage-types. Every person is different and for every person there are different needs. Therefor I perform different techniques in the same session as needed.
A few of the modalities we provide are:
Swedish - This gentle massage will increase circulation and calm the central nervous system. Soothing away muscle tension and stress to re-balance your body and improving an overall relaxed mind and body.
Deep Tissue - A very effective massage technique that is directed to specific muscles and their fibers. Its purpose is to unstick the muscle fibers, while releasing deeply held patterns of tension, removing toxins, relaxing and soothing the body.
Sports - Similar to Swedish but with a specific rhythm to stimulate and inhibit the muscles in the most effective way. Goal of this massage is to enhance the athletes performance with a pre event massage. Post-event massage allows the body to recover better, naturally.
Preparation for massage:
Refrain from using fragrances and/or scented oils, because some of out therapists are allergic to these. Clear a space of a minimum of 8ft by 4ft for the therapist to set up their table. The therapist will provide sheets and supplies for the massage. Should you rather use your own sheets or lotion, feel free to mention that when you schedule your appointment.
